The whole wide range of possibilities of infringing traffic and transport regulations is covered by our policies for our clients. To this end, the client has to send us the sanctions received in the briefest possible time (if at all possible within 5 days of its reception) via fax, by mail or by personal delivery. One of our professionals will immediately deal with the fine and, if deemed opportune, ask the client for any documentation needed in order to appeal against the sanction. The manager for each client will analyse the summons and appeal before the corresponding administrative authority, within the period established by Law and using the means of putting in appeals which the regulations permit. GESTRANS will inform the client of the results in a clear and honest manner.
For the greater ease of our clients, one of our professionals will always exclusively deal with one client so that the particular features of each case is better known and our customers can be advised in an optimum manner. In the case of foreign companies, GESTRANS offers a further service, consisting of the release of vehicles impounded by the various police forces in Spain due to non-payment of fines. In effect, when the sanctioned party is a foreign individual or company, the summonsing authority (the Police) demand payment of an on-the-spot fine before allowing the vehicle to continue its journey. In these cases GESTRANS takes on all the bureaucratic and administrative procedures directed at freeing the foreign vehicle from impoundment in the shortest time possible.
